Almira is a town in Lincoln County, Washington, United States. The population was 302 at the 2000 census.

In the 2004 US presidential election, Almira cast 62.22% of its vote for Republican George W. Bush[1].

Almira was officially incorporated on February 1, 1904.

Almira is located at 47°42′38″N, 118°56′30″W (47.710419, -118.941762)[3].

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.5 square miles (1.3 km²), all of it land.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 302 people, 121 households, and 79 families residing in the town. The population density was 580.6 people per square mile (224.2/km²). There were 154 housing units at an average density of 296.1/sq mi (114.3/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 93.38% White, 0.66% African American, 2.98% Native American, 1.66% Asian, and 1.32% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.32% of the population.

There were 121 households out of which 33.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.4% were married couples living together, 6.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 34.7% were non-families. 32.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 15.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.50 and the average family size was 3.18.

In the town the population was spread out with 29.5% under the age of 18, 6.0% from 18 to 24, 25.5% from 25 to 44, 22.5% from 45 to 64, and 16.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 38 years. For every 100 females there were 92.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 91.9 males.

The median income for a household in the town was $30,208, and the median income for a family was $34,107. Males had a median income of $26,429 versus $36,563 for females. The per capita income for the town was $15,769. About 16.5% of families and 21.0% of the population were below the poverty line, including 29.9% of those under the age of eighteen and 12.8% of those sixty five or over.
