The most ancient remains belong to a village dated in the 1st and 2nd centuries. The settlement was situated closed to the Henar river, on a soft slope.

The farming was very profitable, including unirrigated lands for cereal and vegetable gardens thanks to the great Henar's volume of water. There were also pastures for the cattle; and oaks and homl-oaks providing with combustible.

Evidences demonstrating the farming activities are the huge number of handmade pottery jars, in different sizes, decorated in black geometrical figures on yellow and brown background, just as the traidtional celtiberic craft.
