Alma Fahlstrøm

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Alma Isabella Bosse (1863-1946) was born in Denmark, and became a well known Norwegian actress and theatre manager together with her husband Johan Fahlstrøm.

Their only son Arne Fahlstrøm drowned in the Titanic disaster. As they had no other children, they willed their fortune to the Norwegian Sea Rescue Society, which used it to purchase a rescue boat that was given Arne's name.

The sister of Alma, Harriet Bosse was married to August Strindberg.
