[edit] Honours
I've partially reverted the recent change to page as the references state he was awarded "Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of the Nation". This is a separate honour to the "Most Excellent Order of the British Empire" In any event, this article is not the place to discuss the history of either honour - a wikilink to a page on that honour is sufficient.
