Allyne R. Ross

Allyne R. Ross (b. 1946, New York, New York) is a federal judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Judge Ross received a B.A. from Wellesley College in 1967 and a J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1970. She served as a U.S. Magistrate for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York from 1986 to 1994. She was nominated by President Bill Clinton on July 22, 1994, to a seat vacated by I. Leo Glasser, confirmed by the Senate on September 28, 1994, and received her commission on September 29, 1994.
