The Alliance for Progressive Government (APG) is a political pressure group operating in the Isle of Man.

Formed in 1991 as a grouping of members of the House of Keys who wanted to provide a coherent opposition to the Manx government, they were initially called the Alternative Policy Group, before changing their name to the current one in 1998. They have had varying numbers of members elected throughout their history. At their formation they had 5 MHKs, and in the 1996 election they returned 6 members, with two more being elected at by-elections giving them at one stage 8 members out of the 24 member House of Keys, although 3 MHKs resigned from the party between 1996 and 2001. In the 2001 election they succeeded in electing only 3 members (although they had only nominated 4 candidates, so this was a high return).

The APG MHKs make a point of advancing alternative policies to the Manx government as well as questioning and scrutininsing governmental policy.
