[edit] Allegheny Lacrosse Officials Association
The Allegheny Lacrosse Officials Association ALOA is an organization that provides lacrosse referees to schools in Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
The association serves middle school and high school and college teams from the Western Pennsylvania Youth Lacrosse Association (WPYLA) and the Western Pennsylvania Scholastic Lacrosse Association WPSLA, West Virginia Scholastic Lacrosse Association WVSLA respectively and collegiate lacrosse teams in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), under the auspices of the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association USILA, the Mens Collegiate Lacrosse Association MCLA and the National Collegiate Lacrosse League NCLL. The area officiated extends from Erie, PA in the north to Charleston, WV in the south, and from the Ohio border in the west to Indiana, PA in the east.
All members are part of US Lacrosse USL, the national governing body of lacrosse.
