Allan Ngumuya

Allan Ngumuya is a Malawian gospel artist. He began his musical career in the early 1990s. His first album was backed by the band Chivumbulutso, and his second by the band Makasu. Ngumuya began his rise to fame with this second, entitled Kweza Maso. After releasing three additional albums, he left Malawi to go to the United States for further musical studies. In the United States, he released another album to his credit, entitled I've Got Hope. He is considered one of the shapers of the Malawi music industry.
