All Movie Talk was a weekly one-hour podcast hosted by Sam Stoddard and Stephen Keller that ran for 52 episodes on the subject of movies.

[edit] Segments
The only segments to be used in every regular episode are the "Top Six List" and the "Trivia Question". Episode 17 is a special edition with a different format and did not include these segments. Other segments are used with varying degrees of frequency.
- Top Six List - The hosts each choose their top six movies within a given category (such as "movies about computers", or "surprisingly good movies"), and talk about why they like them. They chose list of six rather than five because six is one better than five.
- Trivia Question - Sam poses a question that Stephen cannot answer, and the answer is revealed at the end of the show. Rarely, Stephen sets the question.
- Good Bad Movie - An occasional spot dissecting the unintentional humour in bad movies.
- Film Buff's Dictionary - The hosts explain the meaning of terms used in the film industry, such as the difference between wipes and fades, and the technology and art attached to those terms.
- Unseen Movie Review - The hosts review a movie that they haven't seen, based only on the trailers and advertising material. Not entirely serious.
- Film Style Spotlight - A discussion of a specific style of cinema, its influence and influences.
- Series Spotlight - As above, but dealing with a single series of films.
- Film Spotlight - As above, but dealing with a single film.
- Controversial Take - One of the hosts outlines a point on which they disagree with accepted wisdom, and neither manages to convince the other that they're wrong.
- Industry Trend - A history of the politics, art and technology of movie making, looking at such things as the introduction of sound, or the history of Biblical epics.
- True of False - Similar in nature to the Trivia Question, in True or False, Sam gives a few urban legends / odd statements about the movie industry (often on a theme related to that week's podcast), and Stephen has to guess how much truth there is to them. He seems to be better at this than at the Trivia Question.
- How To... - Spoofing the clichés of various genres, Stephen tells us how to survive an action movie, or how to get the girl...
- Movie Books - Reviews of books about the movie-making process, such as Sidney Lumet's Making Movies, or Bruce Campbell's If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B Movie Actor.
[edit] Theme Tune and Sound
The theme tune is a rendition of Scott Joplin's "Maple Leaf Rag", evoking silent films. As the podcast cuts between different topics, the sound of rolling film is played. The podcast finishes with an exclamation of "Cut!" which is often followed by a humorous anecdote.

The individual segments are pre-recorded via Skype and later edited into whole episodes. It is a running joke that the episodes are broadcast live at the moment you listen to them.

A significant proportion of the listeners originally discovered All Movie Talk through RinkWorks, another of Sam Stoddard's projects that has a focus on movies, but more people are discovering the show independently.

The All Movie Talk website is structured as a blog, with brief details of each episode and frequent additional content that listeners can comment on.
