Alkaline Trio/Hot Water Music (also known as Alkaline Trio/Hot Water Music [Split CD] or simply Split CD) is a split EP released on January 22, 2002 by Jade Tree Records. The EP features original songs by Alkaline Trio and Hot Water Music as well as several where one band covers the other.
All seven songs were previously unreleased, although certain ones were released on other compilations later on. Alkaline Trio contributed three songs to the album, while Hot Water Music contributed four. One of Alkaline Trio's songs was a cover of Hot Water Music, while Hot Water Music's four songs contained two covers of Alkaline Trio.
Both bands have another split EP released by BYO Records under their BYO Split Series. Hot Water Music with Leatherface (BYO Split Series, Vol. 1), and Alkaline Trio with One Man Army (BYO Split Series, Vol. 5).
On September 20, 2005 a vinyl picture disc version of the EP was released on No Idea Records.
