Talk:Aljama
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Nice article from the 1901-1906, hence public-domain, Jewish Encyclopedia. Given the source, the emphasis on Jews rather than Moors is inevitable; comparable information about the agenda of a Moorish aljama would be very welcome. If you can give the Moorish/Muslim perspective, please consider editing the article. -- Jmabel | Talk 02:04, Oct 21, 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Aljamía
Are aljama and aljamiado really related. The etymology seems different, but it would take knowledge of Arabic to tell. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 84.20.17.84 (talk • contribs) 20 November 2006.
