Hi there. I'm Alison Cassidy

At the day job

These days, I don't get as much time on article editing, as administrative duties take up much of my time, something I'm not entirely happy with. Lately though, I've been working on the Irish language Wikipedia and on uploading images and pronunciation files to Commons and interwiki'ing them. I'm also active in translating the MediaWiki interface into the Irish language. More info in my userboxes. As an admin, I am open to recall - see my criteria and commitment here.

I'm also an administrator on the Irish Wikipedia and on both the Irish and Scottish Gaelic Wiktionaries. There is always a great need for speakers of both languages, so if you have a little time and a basic knowledge, please come over and help us! There are precious few of us. If you can speak Scottish Gaelic, I could really use your help in translating parts of the MediaWiki interface.

I'm also involved in the Veropedia project, where I am a sysop and bureaucrat. If you need an account, let me know and we can talk about it.
