My name is Muhammad Ali bin Haji Badawi. I am an ethnic Malay who is a practising member of the Ahl-ul-Sunnah-Waal-Jamaah denomination. The Islam that I advocate is Socialist Islam as advocated by the Syrian Ba'ath Party. I believe the basis of democracy means equality among various communities, such as Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, Jews, and Sikhs as practised in Syria, and not like inequality among various communities as found in my homeland, Malaysia.
