The Avestan bible textual sources attributed to the two holy lands of Ahuramazday (the God) which respectivly from east to west (and priority) are Hverkana, and Verna. they also stated that people of Verna are not originally iranians nor they adhered to an iranian religion and beliefs. scholars infered as Hverkana was attributed to the region in South-West of today Turkmenistan, and Verna was a mountainous region around Mount Demavend (Still a town known as verne is located there next to Rine).

Amardians are believed to be the earliest inhabitants of the region where modern day Mazanderan and Gilan is located. The establishment of primordial great kingdom is back to about one millennium BC when Hyrcanian Kingdom founded with Sadracarta (Somewhere near to Modern Sari) as it's capital. It's magnitude was so huge that Caspian Sea was called Hyrcanian Ocean for centuries. The first known dynasty were Faratatians, who were reigning some centuries before christ. During the rise of Parthians, Many of the Amerdians forced to exile into the southern slopes of elburz where today known as Veramin and Garmsar, and Tapurians (whom were living somewhere from today Yaneh Sar to the north and Shahrud to the south) replaced in the region. During Gashnaspians dynasty, whom were an Indigenous dynasty, Many of the people adopted Christianity. in 418 CE the tapurian calendar (which is similar to Armenian and Galeshi Calendars) designed and using of it started. Gashnaspians ruled the region till 528 CE when King Kopad of Sassanids conquested on last Gashnaspian king after long period fight.

Mazanderanis never compromised with Kopad and he soon lefted the region, but he enthroned Zarmehr in 537 CE, Since he was native of the region, he become admised, Zarmehr introduced his genealogy to Kaveh, the Smith. During Zarmehrian's reign many of the people converted to Zoroastrianism, Although it slowly done. and the language of Mazanderanis modesty alterated. when Sassanid empire falled, Yezdgerd III escaped to Tapuria to finding a solution by using the Mazanderanis honor and resistibility to retreating the arabs. By his order AdarVelash (The last Zarmehrian's king) gifts the dominion to Ispahbod Gil Jamaspi in 645 CE, Instead western and Southern Gilan and other parts of the Gil's domain merged under the name of Tapuria. He then choosed Amol as capital of United Tapuria in 647 CE. The dynasty of Gil which was known as Gavbareh in Gilan, Famed as Dabuyans in Eastern Tapuria. Farrukhan, The Great (the fourth king of Dabuyans), who crowned after Khorshid I, expanded Tapuria to eastern parts of today Turkmenistan and repulsed Turks about 725 CE. while Dabuyans were in the Plainy regions, Sokhrayans were governing the mountainous regions. Venday Hormuzd ruled the region about 50 years till 1034 CE. after 1125 CE, (the year when Maziar killed by trick) boost of conversion to Islam achieved. Not by Arab Caliphs, but Imam's embassadors. Mazandaranis and Gilaks were one of the first groups of iranians who converted to Shia Islam directly.

Independence of Tapuria remained until 1596 when Abbas I of Safavid dynasty incorporates Mazandaran into his empire, since his was mathernally Mazandarani. Shah Abbas I forced many of the armenians, georgians, Kurds and Kajar turks to settling in Mazandaran. Pietro Della Valle who visited a town near Pirouzcow in mazandaran noted that Mazandarani women never use the veils, and they don't hesitate talking foreigners, Also he noted that he never found people with an equality of reach civility as Mazandaranis have. After the Safavid's period of persia, Qajars rise to power in Mazandaran. Aqa Mohammed Khan (who was from Qajar trip) established his empire on Mazandaran in 1782.
