[edit] Truth For Life
Why does truth for life auto-direct here? It seems to mee that it should have its own page, about the radio program, and that one man is not a radio program. The article should then link to this as its main voice.
The same is true of Parkside church. The churche's founding is certianly not part of his life story, because he wasn't even present for the founding. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Barbedwireincident (talk • contribs) 23:48, 3 May 2007 (UTC).
- I don't think Parkside Church is noteworthy enough, on its own, to have its own Wikipedia page--most churches don't have WP entries. The reason Parkside is notable is because it's the church of a nationally broadcast radio preacher--but that preacher is notable enough to have his own WP page. And most likely, if someone is looking up Parkside Church, it's because they're interested in Alistair Begg; redirecting to his page seems appropriate to me.
- As for Truth For Life, again, I don't think both the show and the host merit WP pages, especially since Begg has been the host from the beginning. (That is, someone who looks up The Tonight Show might be interested in Jack Paar, Johnny Carson, or Jay Leno, int. al.; someone who looks up Truth For Life is pretty much only interested in Alistair Begg.) I could see giving either AB or T4L their own page, but I don't see the need for both. And of those two choices, I think it makes more sense to give a page to Alistair Begg, and have T4L point there. If someone looks up Truth For Life, I think they'll be satisfied to end up at the entry on Mr. Begg. -- Narsil 21:09, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
