Interesting.Do we evolve some kind of anti-radiation defense when we mature or just get through by being strong(in sense of immune system) enough to repair it at that stage? What about sick/sensitive people in adulthood?
- The radiation hormesis theory is that radiation switches on gene repair in animals (including humans) and in the process gene defects from other causes are also put right. I can't help with the extra sensitivity, sorry. --Old Moonraker 06:14, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
