The result of the proposal was no move - Alice Adams turns into a disambig. Patstuarttalk|edits 04:34, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

  • Oppose I don't see that the subject of this article is overwhelmingly more notable than Tarkington's book: Alice Adams (novel); it may be useful to make a dab at Alice Adams. Dab headers are called for, unless these is another Alice Adams, as there may be, to disambiguate. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 03:14, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
  • Oppose. I was going to write a long entry, but I agree with PMAnderson. Create a dab at Alice Adams. --Bobblehead 03:33, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
  • Support as requestor. I don't see that Tarkington's book Alice Adams (novel) overwhelmingly more notable than the far more contemporary writer. --Calton | Talk 05:16, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
    • But if neither is overwhelmingly more notable, we should keep both where they are, and have a dab page. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 21:48, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
  • Oppose. Alice Adams should be a dab page that includes Alice Adams (film) in addition to these two (Alice Adams (novel) & Alice Adams (writer)). The novel is a Pulitzer Prize winner and the film resulted in one of Katharine Hepburn's Academy Award nominations for best actress. None of these three is more notable than the other. -- JLaTondre 12:00, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Finding Aid Available at HRC website

Sashafresh (talk) 20:09, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

Hello,

I work with the Harry Ransom Center at the University of Texas at Austin. I would like the Wikipedia community to know that the HRC has an Alice Adams Archive. Due to conflict of interest, I cannot make changes on the page myself. Would someone please add the following in the External Links section:

"Alice Adams: An Inventory of Her Papers at the Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center".

It would link to: http://research.hrc.utexas.edu:8080/hrcxtf/view?docId=ead/00366.xml&query=Alice%20Adams&query-join=and

Thank you.
