He hasn't joined Arsenal yet, has he? Isn't he still waiting for a work permit? 140.247.23.64 4 July 2005 15:19 (UTC)
- Yes, he is still waiting for it. But he is already training with Arsenal, and has supposedly been presented 13th shirt number. --Monkbel 5 July 2005 17:52 (UTC)
- He has received work permit already. --Monkbel 16:47, 17 July 2005 (UTC)
Who took away his arsenal photo and replaced it with the homemade one? I think it should be reverted
- If the Arsenal one has copyright issues then nothing should be reverted. Chensiyuan 07:26, 1 July 2007 (UTC)

http://www.uefa.com/footballeurope/news/Kind=2/newsId=483222.html
Would someone create article for the award and add some link and content to Helb's article? Matthew_hk tc 16:52, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] IPA
Could someone please add an IPA thing for this article. I'm interested in how this name is pronounced in Belarussian. Yonatan (contribs/talk) 16:17, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Odd Photo
What was wrong with the photo added by Jackman? It was much better than the underhill one.
[edit] Removed Fairsport Marketing Link
They didn't have a page for him anymore, so they can't have a link

[edit] Hleb/Gleb
Firstly, I don't speak Russian so I'm not the most qualified to talk on the subject. However the Hleb/Gleb issue is turning into an edit-war and a consensus needs to be reached.
Personally, I'm in favour of the use of "Hleb" throughout the article. It's the spelling Arsenal use and he himself seems to use. I have never heard of him going by "Gleb", certainly not since he has been in the Premiership.
While "Gleb" may be a more linguistically accurate translation, it's not Wikipedia's place to rename him.
Opinions? PlayCollective (talk) 01:32, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
- Re:naming conventions, it seems WP policy prefers whichever name is most used and/or recognisable, not whichever is most accurate. But, a note can still be inserted stating the original/accurate name. I know it's terribly frustrating for natives to see their language mangled by customary wrong usage, but that's why a note somewhere in the opening lines should suffice. - I agree. It should probably should be briefly mentioned, perhaps something along the lines of the way the Valeri Bojinov article handles it. Put it in, but don't dwell on it, and use Hleb throughout, as he is by far more well-known by that name. VincentValentine29 (talk) 21:53, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Interest from Barcelona
I don't think this one should have it's own section. It could maybe be emerged with the Arsenal section, but as an own, just because Barca is said to be interested, seems a little odd. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.202.218.230 (talk) 16:57, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
- I personally don't think it deserves a section at all, as per WP:CRYSTAL. It just seems unnecessary to put these kinds of sections on pages when it is just transfer speculation. This kind of stuff is rampant in football, and if people want to read this kind of information, they're better off going to a tabloid rather than an encyclopedia. If we added a section to a player's page any time a club said they were interested in a player, it would never end, and would get very cumbersome. I'm for deleting it until/unless something happens in the future. Until then, it's mere conjecture. VincentValentine29 (talk) 04:07, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
- Won't mind if the section is wiped out. Chensiyuan (talk) 04:14, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
