Talk:Ali Al-Ahmed

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ali Al-Ahmed frequently is quoted in media reports and is a guest on TV and radio programs. He is one of the most vocal and knowledgeable commentators on Middle Eastern issues available in the West. There should be a place for people to go and get a detailed biography of him after seeing him in the media if they choose.

Beyond giving people more information about him, this page will detail the story of a citizen of a repressive country who has sought to improve his country and suffered hardships along with his family because of his efforts.

A lot of the information comes from conversations with Mr. Al-Ahmed and the information is not available anywhere else of which I am aware. Any advice on the how to document this information so that it meets Wikipedia standards would be appreciated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Saudi Bios (talkcontribs)

Yeah, I've been looking around a little bit as well to see if I could help the article. I don't understand why you put up a hangon tag, though; no one's trying to delete the article. GlassCobra 14:03, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

Thank you GlassCobra,

When I logged on this morning to check the page there was a message at the top saying that someone had requested the "speedy deletion" of this page because they did not see a reason for it to be here. The message also said by putting the hangon tag I could then make an argument for its existence. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Saudi Bios (talkcontribs) 14:20, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
