I'm currently writing my master's thesis and doing a lot of research on Salih. This page has TONS of errors and is haphazardly put together. I'm too busy to fix everything, but I suggest someone use Reich's book "Political Leaders of the contemporary middle east and north africa" or Long and Reich's Government and Politics of the middle east (Yemen section written by Gause).
