Aliza Vellani

Aliza Vellani is a Canadian television actor, who currently plays the role of Layla Siddiqui in Little Mosque on the Prairie. Born in Vancouver to Ismaili immigrants from East Africa, Vellani is a high school student who has trained extensively in both acting and dancing, including with the Vancouver drama school Tarlington Training.^[1]

Little Mosque is her first professional role.
