Aliveri (Greek, Modern: Αλιβέρι, Ancient/Katharevousa: -on Ancient Greek : Αὐλῶν Aulon[1] ), older forms: Aliverio and Aliverion is a town in the Greek prefecture and island of Euboea, it is also a suburb of Athens. It is part of the municipality Taminaioi. Aliveri is linked with the GR-44 (Chalkida - Karystos). Aliveri also lies with the South Euboic Gulf. Aliveri is located east of Chalkida, south of Cyme and NNW of Karystos as well as NNE of Athens.

Businesses, some tourism and agriculture are the most popular industry in Aliveri. The most famous industry is lignite where it has produced electricity from a power plant since 1955. Mining is also the main industry of town which includes marble, the local Grey of Aliveri and also quartzite, travertine are also mined here.
