Alison Newman

Alison Newman (born January 1969) is a British actress, best known for her role in the hit television series Footballers' Wives as Hazel Bailey.
Newman was cast in the role on the strength of a two episode guest appearance in the series Bad Girls, in which she played Renee Williams who set out to secure revenge on arch nemesis Top Dog Yvonne Atkins (Linda Henry).
Alison Newman has also appeared in Hex, 'Touching Evil III' and 'Great Expectations'.
She is currently starring in Shed Productions' new drama Rock Rivals alongside Michelle Collins, as Lynette Hopkins.
In an interview with This Morning in March 2008, Alison expressed interest in EastEnders, saying if the right role came up she would be willing to join the show as its 'every London actresses dream' to walk through Albert Square.
Other notable roles include guest appearance's on the panel of The Wright Stuff, most recently in March 2008.
