Alireza Amirghassemi (born September 19, 1965 in Tehran, Iran) is a Persian TV personality, music video director, producer and Iranian music mogul. He is the co-founder of Persian Broadcasting Company and its two channels Tapesh, "T2",Tapesh magazine and Tapesh Records. He started his career when he was in his late teens by managing and promoting his high school best friend Siavash. Afther Siavash's huge success Amirghassemi started working with other artists as well. He has also discovered and promoted many persian artists who are famous now like Andy & Kourous, Mekabiz, Mansour, Shahrum K, Susan Roshan, Pyruz and many more. He has also made many music videos for many big Iranian artists. His latest artists are Farez, Sepideh, Navid & Omid and Mohammad.

On TV he is mostly liked for his sense of humor and charm. He has certainly played an important role in the Iranian music business after the Iranian revolution and is the mastermind behind many big artists.

In the past years he has gotten involved in many legal battles with many Iranian artists like Dariush and Ebi. In 2003 he got involved in a legal battle with the legendary Persian superstar Googoosh. In 2006 he got himself into another brawl with Ebi to the point where the singer publicly chastised Amirghassemi about a previous contract. In 2007, however, Ebi sang in Las Vegas an indication that they had made amends.
