Alipur is a tehsil, (an administrative subdivision), of Muzaffargarh District in the Punjab province of Pakistan[1].

Ten kilometres east of Alipur lies Punjnad Head Works, where five rivers meet: Sutlej, Ravi, Chanab, Beas and Indus. On the opposite bank of the Indus lies Rajanpur District.
