Alipur is a tehsil, (an administrative subdivision), of Muzaffargarh District in the Punjab province of Pakistan[1].

Ten kilometres east of Alipur lies Punjnad Head Works, where five rivers meet: Sutlej, Ravi, Chanab, Beas and Indus. On the opposite bank of the Indus lies Rajanpur District.

Alipur is one of the four tehsils of Muzaffargarh district and is itself administratively subdivided into 30 Union Councils:[1]
