Aline de Lima

Aline de Lima, born * October 23, 1978 in Caxias, Brazil, is a Brazilian singer, writer and composer.

Aline de Lima's first CD, Arrebol, was produced by Brazilian singer and producer Vinicius Cantuária. It was released on the French independent record label Naïve, which has also released the music of Carla Bruni. The musicians on Arrebol include drummer Paulo Braga (who played with Tom Jobim) and avant-garde guitarist Marc Ribot. In addition to 10 of Aline's own songs, the album also includes a cover of the French song "Septembre" by Barbara.

Aline sang a duet with the Swedish singer J. C. Schütz on his CD Blissa Nova, released in 2007 on the Swedish record label Terrinha.

Aline de Lima has released her second CD "Açai" in 2008. It was produced by her and the japanese soundartist Jun Miyake.

She currently lives in Paris and previously lived in Stockholm.
