Alikozai

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Alikozai are a sub-tribe of the Abdali Pashtuns of Afghanistan. They are one of four sub-tribes belonging to the Zirak branch of the Tareen - Bor Tareen Abdalis. The tribe derives its name from its progenitor, Aliko, who was the son of Zirak Khan.

The Alikozai are found primarily in Helmand and Kandahar provinces in southern Afghanistan.
