Alikovsky District (Russian: А́ликовский райо́н; Chuvash: Элĕк районĕ) is a district (raion) of the Chuvash Republic, Russia. The district's administrative center, the village (selo) of Alikovo, is located 67 km from Chuvashia's capital city of Cheboksary. District's population: 21,745 (2002 Census) (98% of which are Chuvash); 23,575 (1989 Census).
The district was formed on October 1, 1927. It is situated in the central part of Chuvashia, bordering Morgaushsky and Yadrinsky Districts in the north, Krasnoarmeysky District in the east, Vurnarsky and Shumerlinsky Districts in the south, and Krasnochetaysky District in the west.
