[edit] Plot

Lee, a journalist, is jogging on the road when a craft like object passes behind him and crashes. Joel Armstrong, the local sheriff, picks him up and they go to check it out. After they find Tammys and her mothers caravan abandon they see a strange creature emerge from the crashed ship (that is just behind the caravan). The creature chases them, Lee flees to the car but Armstrong makes a stand, he trips and falls and its killed by the creature who then leaves. A terrified Tammy meets finds Lee and they call the local authorities but their car is destroyed by the creature ( now revealed to be an Xenomorph like alien-Spider Hybrid. They run to a local café were they meet Hillary, Javier, Figgus and Marcy who don´t believe them. Together they go back were they find Garrison wounded and the other passenger gone (dead according to Garrison). The alien appears and kills Marty and while the others flee, it fights a strange robot like hunter. The group decides to go to Valentines (local hunter) trough the sewers. All except Javier ,who is killed by the alien, make it to Valentines and his daughter Freckles house were they call for the support if a local paramilitary team. Valentine attempts to kill the hunter, only to be nearly killed instead, but makes it alive. The group then splits up: Valentine and Lee go to meet the paramilitary force while Tammy, Hillary, Freckles, Garrison and Figgus try to escape trough a set of tunnels. Garrison gets lost in the tunnels and killed by the alien but the others make it to the hunters ship to their dismay. There they find a second nearly dead alien and figure out that to get rid of the hunter they need to kill the alien and take a strange ray gun fro the ship. Lee and Valentine find Two fingers, Marty and Styles, the paramilitary force, and go to find a 4th member that is in the woods. Sadly he is already dead and the hunter kills Marty, and kicks Styles away flying right near the alien who kills both him and Valentine, who tries to save him.

The few survivors meet and while they try to think of a strategy Figgus is killed (impaled on a branch) Two Fingers tries to kill the hunter, who kills both him and Freckles. But just as he is going to kill Hillary ,Lee uses the ray gun on the alien, who nearly killed him a few seconds before, and makes him explode on a giant fireball, with kills him. As the 3 remaining survivors head back to town, the hunter; back on his ship; takes of his mask revealing that he is a human from earth and this is a similar planet but not the same. The movie ends as he comments of the possibility of a second hunt, leaving open the possibilities of Alien vs Hunter 2.

[edit] Alien vs. Predator similarities

Alien vs. Hunter has a number of similarities to the Alien vs. Predator franchises. This includes its title and the general premise. The design of the "alien" is reminiscent of H.R. Giger's design for the monster made famous in the Alien series of films.
