Alien Youth is the fifth full-length album released by the Christian rock band Skillet. It was released in 2001 from Ardent Records. Developing their sound into more aggressive, hard-hitting industrial rock, the concept of "Alien Youth" refers to the youth of the world taking everything over for Jesus, much like aliens. This theme is most prevelant in the title track and the song "Earth Invasion".

This was the first Skillet album to include current guitarist Ben Kasica, replacing Kevin Haaland, though Kasica joined during the recording of this album and only recorded guitars for the song "Earth Invasion".

There is one music video for this album of the song "Alien Youth" Watch.

An "Alien Youth: Limited Edition" was available for people who preordered the original album that contained 2 unreleased tracks that didn't make the cut as well as a track of John explaining the theme of the album.

"Alien Youth: The Unplugged Invasion" is their first DVD released in 2002 which is an acoustic mini concert of select tracks from the album (and a track from "Invincible") along with a few other bonus materials.
