Alide Dasnois (b. 1950) is a South African journalist currently working as deputy editor of the Cape Times.

After matriculating from Herschel Girls School she completed a bachelor's degree in economics at the University of Cape Town. She then did a master's degree at the Sorbonne (Université Paris I - Panthéon Sorbonne) in development economics.
After working as a translator in Paris for several years she moved to Reunion Island in 1988 to work for Témoignages. Three years later in 1992, she started a job at The Argus (Cape Town) where she edited the business section before becoming assistant editor for Personal Finance (Cape Town).
Later in 2001, she moved to Johannesburg and became the editor of Business Report before working as acting editor of the Pretoria News for a year in 2006. Since December 2006 she has been deputy editor of the Cape Times.
