Alice Tully Hall

The Alice Tully Hall is a concert hall that is part of the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City. It was created from the donations of Alice Tully, a chamber music benefactor and patron of the arts. It has a seating capacity of 1,096 and the adjoining lobby can accommodate up to 450 standing or 250 seated.

The one act opera Bertha opened here in 1973 for a commission by Alice Tully
Oliver Messiaen's Des Canyons aux étoiles had it first performance here in 1974
On December 16, 2004 the conclusion to the Season Finale of The Apprentice 2 was televised live from here, with Regis Philbin as the event's emcee.

As part of Lincoln Center's 65th Street Development Project, Alice Tully Hall is currently undergoing its first major renovation since it opened in 1969. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2008.[1][2]
