[edit] Alice R. Ballard
Alice R. Ballard, born 1945, Florence, South Carolina, is a working ceramicist based in Greenville, South Carolina. Much of her work is characterized by the organic forms that they embody. She works primarily in earthenware with terra sigillata.[1]

She received her BS degree in design and MFA in painting from the University of Michigan. From 1974-2001 she has attended workshops Penland School of Crafts, Penland, North Carolina.[2]
