Alice Lake Provincial Park is a provincial park in British Columbia, Canada.

[edit] History and conservation

Alice Lake, was named for the wife of Charles Rose who settled in the district about 1888. It was a popular recreation spot for local residents even before the park was established in 1956. It has 108 total campsites, 97 vehicle accessible campsites and 12 Walk-Ins Campsites. As Of Spring 2007 Sites 1-55 and in Group Site A have the option for electricity at an additional cost. The Power sites have two 15AMP plug ins and one 30AMP plug in. The Park also has a vast day use area, and several popular hiking and mountain biking trails. Parking Fees are in affect in this park and are stickily monitored. The maintenance and operations of this park is provided by Sea to Sky parks services LTD. of North Vancouver B.C..

Small mammals and birds such as squirrels, chipmunks, raccoons, Steller's Jays, crows and osprey can often be seen in the park.

Approximately 13 kilometres north of Squamish, British Columbia.

Base Rates: Vehicle Accessible $24.00 per night Walk-In $19.00 per night Electricity $ 5.00 per night Extra Car $12.00 per night (each site may have one car, anything over is results in a fee) Extra Party $24.00 per night (any thing over 4 Adults 16 years of age and older)

Firewood is available for purchase for $6.00 a bundle available for purchase at the campground gate house.

For other needs a consession stand is at the beach.
