Ali Rameez is a famous singer among Maldivians. He became one of the most loved singers among the Maldivian youth. During his journey in his singing career, he performed on stages, produced albums and presented live music, especially in tourist resorts where he entertained holiday-makers. He formed a music band named "Freeze band".
Ali Rameez never created his own music. Most of his songs were borrowed tunes from popular Indian songs sung in Dhivehi.
Ali Rameez's family is well known for their singing careers. His sister Raafiyat Rameeza, his brother Mohamed Rashaad, and his brother Ibrahim Rameez also sings.

After entertaining a portion of the population of the Maldives consisting of roughly 300,000 people, Ali Rameez is said to have been enlightened.
After anticipations of receiving a presidential award, and been declined constantly Ali Rameez got depressed. Soon after his religious journey to Mecca, he became somewhat silent in the media.
The news that shocked almost all the Maldivian was that he wanted to quit his singing career. He confirmed this by an interview he gave to TVM (Television Maldives).
In the interview he is said to have said, "I have been worshiping my fans, which is in fact the biggest sin in Islam. So I decided not to worship the human beings, but only Allah."
Along with a few friends, Ali Rameez manages a small business in the Capital City (Male') of the Republic of Maldives. Its a company that produces, and sells a variety of fish products for the public. The name of the business out-let is Freez Brand.
