Ali Altun (or Alton) (born December 16, 1988) is a Swedish football (soccer) player. Playing in a number of positions, either as a defender (Right, Center or Left) or as a central/defensive midfielder. During the starter of his career Ali played as a striker, but soon changed to defender/midfielder after playing as a goalkeeper for a short time. Ali has become something of a free-kick/corner specialist, due to his ability to shoot with the right as well as the left foot. During his short career Ali has enjoyed interest from teams such as Hammarby IF, Djurgårdens IF, FC Nordsjaelland, AIK, Heart of Midlothian, Norwich City FC and the Puerto Rico Islanders, to mention a few.

Ali started playing football at the age of 7, playing for the local team Västerås (Vasteras) IK, before moving to Gideonsbergs IF. After a clash with the teams coach Ali moved to IFK Västerås (Vasteras) just after being called up as a reserve to the Swedish U-17 National team. During his first year with the team, Ali was called over to Stockholm to train with Swedish giants Hammarby IF, and local team Västerås SK (Vasteras SK) but choose to continue playing for his team. During the 2007/2008 a transfer to USL newcomers Puerto Rico Islanders was almost completed, when a injury stopped the transfer.

Called up to the Swedish U-17(Reserve) National Team. Called up to the Turkish U-21 national team, but refused to play stating he would never play for Turkey.
