Ali Aaltonen (1884-1918) was a Lieutenant in the Imperial Russian army, journalist, and Finnish communist leader. Aaltonen led the attack on Näsinlinna during the Battle of Tampere in the Finnish Civil War. Later he was arrested at the Villähde railway station and sent to a prison camp. Upon the orders of Hans Kalm, he was shot by the White Guard in Hennala in 1918.
