Algua is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 60 km northeast of Milan and about 15 km north of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 743 and an area of 8.1 km².[1]
The municipality of Algua contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Frerola, Pagliaro, and Rigosa.
Algua borders the following municipalities: Aviatico, Bracca, Costa di Serina, Nembro, San Pellegrino Terme, Selvino, Serina, Zogno.
