The Algonquin Students' Association (SA) is a not-for-profit corporation with over 30 years of service. The ASA represent students at Algonquin College in Ottawa, Canada and its satellite campuses. Algonquin College has campuses in Ottawa, Perth, and Pembroke.
It is their mission to create an environment that inspires a passion for student success. A Board of Directors governs the Students' Association and they make all the key decisions that affect students.
The SA had been affiliated with the College Student Alliance (CSA) and SA President, Michael G. Barrett, served as President of the CSA in 2005. Barrett resigned from the CSA Board when the SA withdrew its membership that year.
[edit] The Board
