Algernon Sydney Sullivan

Algernon Sydney Sullivan (1826–1887) was one of New York's leading lawyers in the mid-1800s. Sullivan, together with William Nelson Cromwell, founded Sullivan & Cromwell in 1879.
He was the son of Jeremiah Sullivan, a justice of the Indiana Supreme Court.
Today Sullivan & Cromwell remains one of the world's largest law firms.
