Algarvia

Algarvia (from Algarve + ia) is a parish in the district of Nordeste in the Azores. The main industry is agriculture. It is connected with a road linking to Ribeira Grande - Nordeste. The mountains are to the south. On July 16, 2002, the parish was split from Nordestinho and also created Santo António de Nordestinho and São Pedro de Nordestinho.
