[edit] Translation error (?)

The article has just (well... two weeks ago) been expanded, and it seems that it relies heavily on the German article. Therefore, I guess, there has been a slight, but significat translation error. It says: "While he was in prison, Delp bargained with the Gestapo to release him in return for his leaving the Jesuits, but his offer was rejected." If I understand correctly, that would mean that Delp asked the Gestapo to let him free, and that he would leave the Jesuits in turn. The German wikipedia however says that the Gestapo offered Delp that bargain, and that version sounds more sensible to me, because I find it unlikely that Delp would have made such an offer (if for nothing else, he would have guessed that he could not bargain with them on his terms). I have changed the sentence accordingly --222.13.236.80 19:34, 15 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Translation error (!)

Yes, you're right. I must have been tired or something. It says "ihm die Gestapo", not "er der Gestapo". I sometimes miss case inflections when it's late. Kelisi 04:45, 6 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Looking Forward to Reading About Delp

Several years ago, while I was cleaning out the Brooklyn College Catholic Center library, I came across the Prison Meditations of Father Delp. I took it and put it on a shelf and now am getting around to reading it. To get background, I went to the Wiki page. It's given me good background.
