Alfred Robertson

Alfred Robertson was an American Hall of Fame jockey.
Robertson was active as a jockey from 1927-1943. On two occasions he had six winners in a single day, once at Oriental Park Racetrack in Havana and later in the United States at Jamaica Racetrack in Jamaica, New York. In 1940 he became one of the founding members of the Jockeys' Guild. In 1942 he was named best rider by the New York Turf Writers' Association.
In 1971, Alfred Robertson was inducted in the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame.
