Alfred Pisani is a hotelier and founder of several luxury hotels and resorts. His success and reputation is commonly attributed to his superlative commitment to detail and drive for perfection. Pisani has been regularly referred to as the Cesar Ritz of his generation[citation needed].
He is the founder and controlling shareholder of the Corinthia Group of Companies and has been the Chairman and Chief Executive since the companies inception in 1962. He was responsible for the construction of the Group's first hotel, the Corinthia Palace in Attard, Malta . Pisani has led the Corinthia Group from a one-hotel company to a diversified group. His business interests vary from equity participation, management, development & ownership of property and industrial catering, all on the international scale.

The hotelier was born and raised to an upper-middle class family in Malta. His father owned several businesses which the Pisani brothers eventually sold to help finance their business venture.
Pisani was educated at St Edwards College.

- On December 13, 2001, Pisani was appointed as Officer to the Maltese National Order of Merit.
- Throughout his career, Pisani has received recognition and appreciation for his services to the international hospitality industry by many Western an Eastern European countries.
