Alfred Leete

Alfred Leete (1882 – 1933) was a British illustrator. Born in Northampton, he studied at Weston-super-Mare Grammar School before becoming a printer. In 1905 Punch magazine used one of his drawings. He then became a full-time illustrator. He is famous for the Lord Kitchener poster design which first appeared on the cover of the weekly magazine London Opinion in 1914.
