Alfred A. McKethan (born 1909) is the namesake for the Alfred A. McKethan Stadium.
In 1988 Alfred McKethan donated almost 3 million dollars to the University of Florida so that they could have a reputable baseball stadium. This facility is known as the Alfred A. McKethan Stadium.
It should also be noted McKethan was the former head of the Florida Bankers Association, and was the former Chairman of the SunTrust Bank.[1] It should also be noted that he was the first Chairman of the Southwest Florida Management District as well.

Alfred McKethan attended the University of Florida for college where he was a brother of Sigma Nu Fraternity, Epsilon Zeta Chapter.
