Alfonso Obregón (born 12 May 1972) is an Ecuadorian football player who played 58 times for the Ecuador national team netween 1995 and 2004[1]
He played for the Ecuador national football team and was a participant at the 2002 FIFA World Cup. He also played at the Copa América in 2001[2] and 2004.[3]
During his club career career he played mostly for LDU Quito where he has made over 300 appearances in the defensive midfield position. He has been part of five Ecuadorian league championship winning campaigns with the club (1998, 1999, 2003, 2005A & 2007).
