Alfonso Boone (born January 11, 1976, Saginaw, Michigan) is an American football defensive tackle for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League. He was selected by the Detroit Lions in the 7th round (253 overall) 2000 NFL Draft out of Mt. San Antonio College (Mt. SAC), a junior college in Walnut, California. He is nicknamed "The Bear" by fans, because of his large size and "scruffy" beard.
