A View For Freedom: Alfie Roberts Speaks on the Caribbean, Cricket, Montreal, and C.L.R. James first published in June 2005 as the very first publication of The Alfie Roberts Institute.
A View For Freedom: Alfie Roberts Speaks is based on an extensive interview with Alfie Roberts, conducted by David Austin in January 1995, over a year before Roberts died. With an introduction by David Austin and afterword by Robert Hill, it is Roberts’ testament on Caribbean and African history and politics, cricket, C.L.R. James, the Sir George Williams Computer Riot, the turbulent 1960s, and Montreal.
