[edit] Pretty Crane's picture

Hi, I've liked the new pictures you've uploaded, but I think the preexisting picture of Pretty showing her scar is more illustrative of the character, therefore I reverted it. I hope you'll agree. -- Dougie WII (talk) 23:37, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Passions pictures

Hi, I'm just wondering why you've been changing all of the Passions characters' pictures? Aside from maybe one or two pictures, nothing was wrong with the pictures that were already uploaded, in my opinion, and most of the pictures that you've uploaded feature the characters with odd facial expressions. — Spanish lullaby (talk) 22:00, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Reply

The press releases are just something put out by the publicity department, so they shouldn't have any influence on this. We go by what he is commonly called on the show. For four seasons, Locke has been commonly referred to as Locke by most of the characters. But with Daniel, for the time being, most characters have referred to him as "Dan" or "Daniel". -- Scorpion0422 04:10, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

If you want to change it, discuss it on the template talk page. -- Scorpion0422 04:20, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] March 2008

There is currently a discussion regarding Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald's name. Do not change her name until a decision based on POLICY is made. Additionally, do not change the picture on the article. The licensing on the picture is valid and there is no reason to change it. KellyAna (talk) 00:40, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

(Moved per BIG ORANGE BANNER) Why do you insist on changing it back, when her last name is legally Crane? Do you watch the show? It has Crane in the credits, along with all of the other names she's been called. Also, why do you want the promotional shot of Theresa up? Screencaps are preferred, and this makes her page look different from the other PASSIONS characters'. --Alexisfan07
The picture should be revereted to match the other pages. Theresa may be your favorite character, but she is not special compared to the rest of the characters. --Alexisfan07
No personal attacks. She is not my anything character, favorite or not, your picture is no more special than the one that is there and the only reason you want your picture is because it's yours. KellyAna (talk) 00:47, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
That is not true. I'm trying to make Theresa's picture look uniform with the other pages. Alexisfan07 9 March 2008
I disagree. It's your picture and that's why you are pushing so hard. It's not difficult to see what you are doing. KellyAna (talk) 00:52, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
It's not my picture, it's NBC's picture. If you'd like, you can go change everyone else's picture to a posed still, and see if I care. Every character under the same show show should look the same. Alexisfan07 9 March 2008
And the other picture is NBC's too. It's their official picture of the character. Also, why are you having such a difficult time understanding that the name issue is in discussion and you have to wait for consensus before making changes? Your comments are opinion, not policy. Wikipedia is based on policy, not personal preference and opinion. KellyAna (talk) 01:03, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
Ok, well since you think I want it up so bad because it's my picture, the same can be said for you. I'm going to put up a newer promo shot of her and see what you do. I obviously don't want a promo still up, but I seem to have no choice. I think you're just obsessed with making Theresa look pretty in her picture. Since this is also a NBC picture, there should be no problem... unless you just want your own picture of her up. Also, I will continue this argument in the other discussion. Alexisfan07 9 March 2008
You want a new picture don't use a YAHOO picture, very illegal, and don't use the previous upload link name. KellyAna (talk) 01:49, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Personal attacks

If you continue to make personal attacks rather than comment on the issue of moving or not moving Theresa's page, you will be reported. This includes but is not limited to the personal attacks you've made here calling me obsessed. KellyAna (talk) 01:27, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

I apologize, but you were telling me my reasonings for doing something and basically calling me selfish, which I also take as a personal attack. I used the wall for the other page. I'm sorry for making it personal before. I'm just very stressed out. Alexisfan07 9 March 2008 (Don't know if I should put the 10th, even know it's not)
I never questioned your ability to read English or talked down the way you are. See the talk page for Theresa, then we'll discuss your opinion that you didn't personally attack me a multiple amount of times. Unless that is not what you are saying. And if you are so stressed, maybe a Wikibreak would be in order. Snide comments also count as personal attacks. KellyAna (talk) 01:40, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
All I said was that you shouldn't be questioning other peoples' understanding of variability. THAT'S attacking them or as you put it, a snide comment. Of course, they're going to retaliate, whether it's wrong or not. And of course you can read English. I don't even understand where you're getting that from. Once again, I apologize. I don't need a wikibreak, I just need to be done with midterms. But thanks for the conern. Alexisfan07 9 March 2008
Do you mean verifiability? Variability would mean change. KellyAna (talk) 01:49, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
Accusing someone of "retaliation" is also a personal attack. KellyAna (talk) 01:51, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
I don't understand where you're coming from. You attack someone, or saying something snide, and I defend them, and you accuse me of attacking you? Also, your insistence of changing Theresa's picture back is redundant, is it not, since you said any picture works? This only proves that you want your picture up. I don't want any specific picture up, but it would be nice if you admitted you want that picture up, as I admitted that I wanted them all to look uniform. And I want to ask you why you are changing Theresa's page but not Rebecca's or Sheridan's, etc, for picture of NBC's official website name for them? That seems odd to me. Alexisfan07 9 March 2008
You're very good at not addressing the issues, I'll give you that. I didn't make snide comments and you aren't even addressing the issues at hand. I am coming from two places. One, policy. Two, don't upload over another picture it causes issues. That's why I keep reverting to the old picture. KellyAna (talk) 01:58, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
Ok, I am addressing the issues. Your snide comment was "You are not understanding the concept of verifiable. Maybe you should familiarize yourself with policy." As for the pictures, uploading another picture cause FAR FEWER issues than uploading an ILLEGAL IMAGE. You're also avoiding my question, which is why haven't you reverted all of the other character's pictures and changed the women's names? You can't do that. And P.S., I don't think you can delete what someone else wrote on my talk page. That seems like a break of code in some way. Not saying it is, it's just my opinion. I have yet to change anything you wrote on Theresa's talk page. How is this different? Alexisfan07 9 March 2008

Alexisfan, you can't "win" an argument with her, just let it go. And YOU don't need a wikibreak. — TAnthonyTalk 01:56, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

Hi, please be advised of new proof that Theresa's last name is indeed Crane and an arbitration request has been filed here: Wikipedia:Requests_for_arbitration#Theresa_Lopez-Fitzgerald. Thanks -- Dougie WII (talk) 03:23, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

It's been rejectes. ArbCom won't be hearing this case. KellyAna (talk) 03:32, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
